Simple connections. Simply choose which SIM-board modules you need, then connect
them to each other using USB cables to form a chain. Then connect
to your PC.
Easy software. Load the free SIM-board software. Your modules are automatically
detected. Configure your connections to perform whatever function
you like from Flight Simulator, Project Magenta, PMsystems,
Level-D 767 and AST Airbus software add-ons. (In the future,
you will also be able to choose Aerowinx PS1 747 functions and
X-plane functions too!)
Advanced functionality. There is a lot more than just switches and LEDs if you are
making a proper simulated flight deck. Think about rotary encoders,
potentiometers, 7-segment display readouts, brightness control
of LEDs and segment displays, backlighting control, simulated
keypresses, and custom coding. SIM-boards can do all of this and more, as standard.
